How to Install WordPress using WP-Toolkit

WordPress is an amazing tool many people use when building their sites. Be it a blog, business site, or informational site, there are plenty of things this Content Source Manager (CSM) can do! WordPress also happens to be famous for its ease of installing to a server, and guess what? We're going to make it even easier! Just follow these steps and you'll be able to have WordPress up and running in no time!

      Install Wordpress using WP Toolkit

      1. Login to your cPanel.

      2. Navigate to WP Toolkit

      3. Click Scan to ensure a wordpress page doesn't already exist.

      4. Click install to install wordpress.

      5. In the settings the most important step is to get the site in the correct location.
        a. Be sure to choose https
        b. Be sure to choose your domain.
        c. Don't forget to check the Automatic Update Settings.

      6. Click Install, and a wordpress page, it's databases, and early settings will be configured for you.

      Post installation

      1. Your wordpress site will become available at the selected destination.

      2. You will see a prompt:
WordPress has been installed. Take a minute to set it up.

Plugins can enhance your WordPress experience, and a theme can make your website more attractive. Begin working in WordPress by installing a few plugins and choosing a theme for your website. You can do it now, or you can do it later.

      3. Feel free to install plugins, or skip this step, plugins can always be installed later.

      4. Install Plugin Updates:
        a. Click on the Install plugin updates link in WP-Toolkit
        b. Click on all plugins that may be out of date, and click update.

      5. By default a Wordpress install has some features that wp-toolkit (and most of the industry) considers insecure.

      6. Click Fix Vulnerabilities.

      7. Click on the Security Measures Tab.

      8. Select all security Measures.

      9. Click the button that says Secure.

      10. Once all security measures are applied, click the x to close the Security Status.

      Add Content

      1. Now, you're ready to install WP-Themes and Content from Wordpress

      2. Click the Log in button to log into the admin user account.

      3. There are other setup pages here to help get started using wordpress.
