How to Setup a Mailing List
Be it sending out a monthly newsletter, to a promotional discount, or even periodic announcements; mailing lists can be a very effective way to quickly get that information out quickly to multiple people! Having several email addresses all from one list that you can save, edit, update, and even set your settings to manage tasks automatically can be a drastic time saver. Here is how to get one setup!
Login to your cPanel account.
Once you are in cPanel's home page, located the 'Mail' section towards the top, then select the 'Mailing Lists' icon.
Once the page loads, you will be able to view the mailing list creation form for you to complete:
Enter the name of the mailing list you.
Select the domain on your account you'd like to associate with the mailing list from the dropdown menu.
Set your Mailing List Password. If must be at least 5 characters in length, and with a password strength of at least 50.
Choose if you would like to make the list public or private. Private lists require the use of the password you created to access it and make any changes.
Once the form is completed, select the 'Add Mailing List' button to generate. After it has been generated, you can customize the mailing list by going back to the 'Mailing Lists' main page, and scrolling down to the 'Current Lists' section. From there, located the list you with to edit, then under the Functions column choose the 'Manage' link to pull up the manager then made and save the settings you wish to use!
