Disable SIP ALG on Eero Router

If you don't have any existing SIP-related port forwarding rules to remove, disabling SIP ALG on an Eero Wi-Fi mesh system can be done by following these steps:

      1. Open the Eero app on your smartphone or tablet.

      2. Navigate to the "Settings" section within the app.

      3. Select your Eero network from the list of available networks.

      4. Scroll down and tap on "Advanced Settings."

      5. Look for the "Reservations & Port Forwarding" option and tap on it.

      6. Check if there is an option specifically labeled "SIP ALG" or "SIP Passthrough." If you find such an option, toggle it off to disable SIP ALG. Note that the exact labeling may vary depending on the Eero firmware version.

      7. If you don't find a dedicated SIP ALG option, it's possible that Eero doesn't expose this setting in its user interface. In that case, you may need to contact Eero support or refer to the Eero documentation for further guidance on disabling SIP ALG.

Remember to save any changes you make in the Eero app. Disabling SIP ALG should help resolve issues related to SIP traffic and ensure smoother communication for VoIP services or SIP-based applications.
